Laura graduated from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She entered the workforce as a Sales Assistant for CBS Radio before starting a career in Children’s Theater. Laura served as the Education Director at the Little Palm Family Theater in Boca Raton, FL for many years.
When Laura moved to Connecticut with her family, she made a career change into the fitness industry. She pursued several certifications in health and wellness, including nutrition and herbalism. Laura worked with Michael in the Financial Services industry for several years while her children were young.
Laura is excited to be back in the financial world. She finds it surprisingly creative and enjoys working one-on-one with our wonderful clients. She still has a passion for wellness and exercise and loves to practice yoga in her free time. Her motto is “There are no problems only solutions!”
Sharon has been in the financial services industry for over 35 years, including 25 years in the Jumbo-Mortgage industry.
Sharon coordinates and attends the educational dinner seminars throughout Connecticut, introducing individuals to the benefits of working with Strategies for Retirement. She also enjoys organizing client events, including the annual Holiday Party and Summer Picnic, not to mention other value-added programs. Her goal is to make clients feel special as members of the Strategies for Retirement family.
Sharon enjoys spending time at the beach, gardening and relaxing with her family. She has been a volunteer with the Connecticut Special Olympics for the past 30 years, helping in the Speed Skating competition.
Chelsea graduated from Hartwick College in 2011 with a B.A. in Music and went on to obtain her M.S. in Education in 2014 from the University of New Haven.
Chelsea is the company’s first point of contact through our educational dinner seminar registration. She also facilitates day-to-day office and marketing processes as Administrative Manager. She loves working with so many new faces and helping others, as evidenced by her background roles as Apple specialist, arts administrator, and educator.
In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys relaxing with family and friends, painting, gaming, and playing violin and guitar in several local bands.
Dan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018 with a B.S. in Economics. During the summer of 2017, Dan worked as an analyst for Bank of New York-Mellon. In 2016, Dan also worked as an intern for North East Private Client Group, a small financial planning firm based out of New Jersey where he is from originally.
Dan works alongside Laura in the transfer department ensuring quick and smooth operations. Since joining, Dan has taken on the role of automating some of our back-end processes, like creating files and binders for new clients.
Outside of the office, Dan enjoys snowboarding in the winter and golf in the summer. He is also a big New York Giants fan and likes to attend their games throughout the season.
